When you create an account or use EverrCAD, we may collect:

• Account Information: Your name, email address, and username when you sign up.
• Payment Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan (₹520/month), payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We do not store your credit card number, debit card number, or UPI PIN on our servers. Razorpay processes and stores this information securely in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
• Support Communications: Any information you provide when contacting us for support or feedback.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use EverrCAD, we automatically collect certain information:

• Usage Data: Features used, time spent, mode preferences (SLD, 2D CAD, Circuit, Learn, SimLAB), and interaction patterns.
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device type.
• Analytics Data: We use Microsoft Clarity for session analytics to improve the user experience. This may include mouse movements, clicks, and scroll behavior (anonymized).
• Log Data: IP address, access times, and pages visited.

1.3 Your Designs and Files

• Design Files: Your 2D CAD drawings, SLD diagrams, circuit designs, SimLAB scripts, and other project files (.eve format) are stored securely in the cloud to enable cross-device access.
• Privacy of Designs: Your designs are private by default. We do not access, view, or share your design files unless required for technical support at your explicit request.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the Service: Operate EverrCAD, save your designs, manage your account, and process subscriptions.
• Improve the Platform: Analyze usage patterns to identify bugs, optimize performance, and develop new features.
• Manage Free Tier: Track daily usage time to enforce the 2-hour free daily limit.
• Communicate: Send account-related emails (subscription confirmations, password resets, important service updates).
• Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Cloud Storage

Your data is stored using Supabase (built on PostgreSQL), which provides enterprise-grade security including:

• Encryption at rest (AES-256)
• Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+)
• Row Level Security (RLS) ensuring users can only access their own data
• Regular automated backups

3.2 Payment Security

All payment processing is handled by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. We never store your complete card details on our servers.

3.3 Security Measures

• Authentication via Supabase Auth with secure session management
• HTTPS encryption on all connections
• Regular security audits and updates
• Access controls and principle of least privilege

• Local Storage: To cache design data locally for performance and to enable a smoother editing experience.
• Analytics Cookies: Microsoft Clarity uses cookies to analyze user behavior in aggregate (anonymized).

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies for ad targeting.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data. Contact us and we will delete your account within 30 days.
• Data Portability: Export your design files in .eve format at any time through the application.
• Withdraw Consent: You can close your account at any time.

7. Data Retention

• Active Accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
• Deleted Accounts: When you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data and design files within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.
• Payment Records: Transaction records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years under Indian tax law).

8. Children's Privacy

EverrCAD is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete the information.

9. International Users

EverrCAD is operated from India. If you access EverrCAD from outside India, your information may be transferred to and processed in India. By using EverrCAD, you consent to the transfer of your information to India, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

We comply with applicable data protection regulations including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). For users in the European Union, we process data in accordance with GDPR principles.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last Updated" date
• Sending an email notification for significant changes
